Display
- 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel — offers a large, comfortable viewing area.
- 90Hz refresh rate — makes scrolling and app transitions feel noticeably smoother.
- 720 x 1612 resolution — provides acceptable sharpness for everyday content.
- 20:9 aspect ratio — gives the phone a tall, modern appearance.
- ~267 PPI density — keeps text and icons reasonably clear at this budget tier.
The 90Hz panel is a genuine upgrade over typical 60Hz budget screens, making browsing and social media feel fast and fluid, though the HD+ resolution isn't as sharp as Full HD rivals.
Processor
- Unisoc Tiger T606 chipset — built on an efficient 12nm process.
- Two Cortex-A75 cores at 1.6GHz — handle everyday multitasking adequately.
- Six Cortex-A55 cores — manage lighter background tasks efficiently.
- Mali-G57 MP1 GPU — supports light-to-moderate mobile gaming.
- Stable thermal performance — avoids overheating during extended use.
The Unisoc T606 comfortably handles calling, WhatsApp, and social media, and runs light games without heat issues, though demanding titles need reduced graphics settings.
RAM & Storage
- 8GB physical RAM — supports smooth everyday multitasking.
- Expandable to 16GB — borrows storage space for extra virtual memory.
- 256GB internal storage — offers ample room for apps, photos, and downloads.
- Dedicated microSDXC slot — allows further storage expansion if needed.
- UFS 2.2 storage — provides decent app loading and file transfer speeds.
The generous 256GB storage paired with expandable RAM is unusual at this price, giving buyers plenty of headroom for apps, media, and downloads without needing to manage space carefully.
Camera
- 50MP main sensor — captures clear, detailed shots in daylight.
- 0.08MP auxiliary lens — assists with close-up and macro-style shots.
- 8MP front camera — handles selfies and video calls adequately.
- Dual-LED flash — supports basic low-light and indoor photography.
- Panorama mode — adds extra flexibility for wide landscape shots.
The 50MP main camera delivers reasonably sharp daylight photos for this price range, though the auxiliary lens adds limited practical value and low-light performance remains basic.
Battery
- 5,000mAh battery — comfortably lasts a full day of typical use.
- 45W wired fast charging — refills the battery to 70% in around 30 minutes.
- Full charge in about an hour — a standout feature at this price point.
- USB Type-C port — provides a modern, reversible charging connection.
- Non-removable design — keeps the internal build compact and sealed.
The 45W charging speed is genuinely impressive for a budget device, letting users go from empty to full in roughly an hour rather than waiting several hours like most rivals in this segment.
Software
- Android 13 out of the box — provides a stable, modern software base.
- Clean interface — keeps navigation simple for everyday users.
- Google Play support — gives full access to popular Android applications.
- Regular security patches — help keep the device protected over time.
- Built-in apps — add extra utility without needing separate downloads.
Android 13 keeps the software experience current and easy to use, making the P55 Plus approachable for first-time smartphone buyers and casual users alike.
SIM & Connectivity

- 4G LTE connectivity — works reliably across major local networks.
- Dual-band Wi-Fi — supports stable wireless connections at home or work.
- Bluetooth support — connects smoothly with wireless earphones and accessories.
- NFC support — enables tap-based payments where available locally.
- USB Type-C with OTG — allows connecting external accessories directly.
Connectivity covers the essentials well for a budget device, and the inclusion of NFC gives it a practical edge over several similarly priced rivals.
Design & Build
- 8.0mm thickness — keeps the phone slim despite the large battery.
- 187g weight — remains comfortable during extended handheld use.
- Royal Green, Galaxy Blue, Meteor Purple — offer bold, attractive color choices.
- Vegan leather back option — adds a premium, textured feel in some colors.
- Side-mounted fingerprint reader — provides quick, accurate unlocking.
The P55 Plus stands out visually with its leather-textured back panel option, giving it a more premium look than most phones typically found at this price point.
Final Words
The Itel P55 Plus is a genuine value pick in Pakistan's budget segment, mainly because of its unusually fast 45W charging, generous 256GB storage, and smooth 90Hz display. These strengths make it especially appealing for buyers who prioritize charging speed and storage space over raw performance.
The Unisoc T606 processor and 8GB RAM handle everyday apps and light gaming comfortably, though the HD+ resolution and average processor limit it for heavier tasks or gaming. The 50MP camera performs decently in daylight, but low-light shots remain basic, as expected in this segment.
At a price around Rs. 25,499-32,999, the Itel P55 Plus offers strong value for buyers wanting fast charging and ample storage without a high price tag. It's worth comparing against similarly priced rivals if camera quality or processing power matter more to you.
